Blackstar Amps Question

I tried the Club 40 years back and to me, it was a "dark in nature" amp. ARe all Blackstar amps voiced this way? I play classic rock and need a good clean as well. Like that crunchy chewy type of drive.

I have an HT Club 40 Mkii and don't find it to be dark at all. In fact, with the stock speaker I found it to be too bright and swapped it out for a better speaker. I like the ISF control as you can pretty much voice the amp to your liking.

Check out the newer MKII series, I thought they were much improved over the older ones.

I got a HT Stage 100 MKII in December and love it so far. It does everything I need (clean, dirty, lead) and sounds pretty damn good. I do have to say that they're biased on the cold side so setting the bias correctly makes a big difference in the "crunchy chewy" tone you're after.
