Blonde/Black transition Fender Showman

    I stopped in a guitar shop to find a transition Showman. Pretty rough shape. Anyone have any info on these? Had blackface controls.

    Probably a blackface circuit in the whitish tolex not terribly rare in a Showman.
    But pretty cool !

    If it didn't have a presence knob, then it's BF in a white box. Cool, probably a $600-800 amp depending on how rough it is.

    Could be the rare AA763 circuit,, check the tube chart .

    You can't always trust a Fender tube chart. For instance according to the one in my 67 BF Deluxe Reverb it's a Deluxe nonreverb.
