Nashville guys really love this P.A.F. inspired pickup set. This set wasn’t really designed with a certain style of music in mind. The goal with this set was to make the most touch sensitive and dynamic set of PAF style Humbuckers. Some old PAFs had really nice Bloom action & we sought to maximize that with this design.

We put a lot of time and effort into each design. There are no magic winding machines here but we really take our time to make sure everything is done perfectly.

Players with good ears seem to hear the difference right away. Many top pro's have told us that our P.A.F. Humbucker's make all other pickups obsolete.

You'll see what they mean when you watch this video:

Nashville guitarist Ford Thurston compares the Bloombuckers in his Gibson Rusty Anderson 335 to his 1959 PAF set in his Vintage 1959 Gibson ES-335.

This guy is known for his great feel which makes him an in-demand session player in Nashville. He is currently touring with country star Randy Houser.

He has a large collection of vintage guitar & has tried about big name pickup on the market.

“They bloom just like a vintage tube amplifier. There are just really vintage sounding pickups. Super warm, dynamic & they sustain forever. They just agree with all of my amps. There's nothing else like them. I put them in all of my guitars, even my vintage guitars."

Top Nashville Player, Guthrie Trapp gets great tones out of a newer Gibson Les Paul equipped with the Tone Specific Bloombuckers P.A.F. Humbucker Pickups.

Nashville Pro Justin Butler used Tone Specific Bloombuckers on the 2018 Tour with Gretchen Wilson in his double Humbucker HH Fender Telecaster.

Justin shows how great the Bloombuckers sound in a a Tele. The presence and warmth is apparent in his playing.

Another amazing Nashville player, RJ Ronquillo getting great tone from the Tone Specific Bloombuckers in a newer Gibson r9 Les Paul. He’s playing through a Bat Cat Cub 50/50.

RJ does a great job of demonstrating the Bloomy nature of these pickups. It’s pretty amazing when you consider the amp his is using has a Solid State power amp.

Nashville pro, Ford Thurston liked the Bloombuckers so much in his newer guitars, he started putting them in his vintage guitars too. Here is playing them live in a vintage 1959 Gibson ES-335.

This guy is known for his vintage collection of Gibson guitars so it says a lot that he puts the Bloombuckers in most of his guitars.

Tone Specific Pickups are made in the USA. Check out the video below. Our process is slower than most but yields great results. That’s why so many people that make a living playing guitar use Tone Specific Guitar Pickups in their main working guitars.

We have a backlog of orders & the current wait time is about 2-3 months.

We really take our times and we sound test everything in a real guitar. Just because it reads well on the multimeter, doesn’t mean it will sound right. Consistent tone is what it is all about & Perfection is the goal at Tone Specific.

Here is another Tone Specific Pickups Forum Post about the Bloombuckers.

Here’s a short clip from a Ford Thurston demo of a Bad Cat solid state power amp hybrid. That’s a pretty nice 1959 ES-335.

We are proud that our pickups end up in the vintage guitars of working professionals. That’s the great compliment a pickup maker could receive.
