Blues Deluxe Owners, question regarding Stabilizer

    Do you use the preamp tube stabilizer that came in with your amps?

    Duh. I'm not even smart enough to know what it is. So I can't tell you. I've got a '95 or an original, not a reissue. Its got some flaws so who knows what I've got. I like the sound though. And I got it reasonably priced ($350).

    Great price!!!!!!!

    It is a piece of foam or some material that holds the tubes together so they won't vibrate.

    I have seen them in brass before, but i have never seen them like this and i am afraid they might melt the tubes down, so i took it off.

    Not sure that's stock...sure it wasn't just a shipping precaution? I haven't ever seen it.

    Newer models come with them. Same in the Hot Rods.
