Mines en route, I'm really looking forward to it. I s/w Lee at Blues Angel and he said that he got 9 in. There were 3 left this am when I spoke with him. He wasn't expecting more for a while.

.... had to put the kiddoes to bed jammies and stories and all....

and now a story for the big kids ---

Once upon a time there was an enchanted forest of tone trees ---- and occasionally between the big established trees a new tree would spring up ..... and in a small patch of sunlight between the Dynamic tree and the Eternity tree and the Mod tree and the Clay tree there grew a tree named Burt - and while Burt fit in nicely in this grove he didnt look exactly like any of the other trees so he filled this patch nicely and began to grow and grow and had big dreams of one day standing as tall as the other established trees...........

Now if your one of those that sees a grove of trees and thinks they are all the same ~ 'just another tree' then thats probably what you will see in Burt --- but if you have the eyes to see what makes Burt unique and enjoy exploring each tree for what it is then you're in for a nice climb :)

oops forgot to brush the teeth..........

heheh sorry was still in 'tell me a story daddy' mode.....

Ok, before I try a different guitar - this was with a Tele and a Princeton into an EVM open back cab (good for hearing tonal differences)

Initial impression was hopped up Screamer approaching distortion territory.... pulled E (V2) and CJ and 808 for comparo -- in the ballpark , much stronger than the 808, close alternative to the other two... then pulled the Landys up - LDO switch up vicinity but less overall mids and more 'sizzle' ,,,, then the MO'D - closest yet.... maybe 3/5 MO'D 1/5 LDO 1/5 other

So as I believe Bob said this was his tweeking of some familiar territory, Id say he did a great job of getting something on the top shelf without knocking anything else off. :AOK

I think I was #5 on the list and had ordered two of them back then. They came in this morning so here is a quick pic of 010 and 012.

Will be trying it out tonight at a gig alongside my Landgraff Dynamic OD, MOD, and the Mad Prof's Little Green Wonder.

You know that Simpsons episode where Homer goes off to some island to convert the natives to Christianity? There's a fantastic scene where he's licking a toad while talking on a phone to his family:

Marge: "Are you licking toads again?"

Homer: "I'm not not licking toads."

    Classic.
