Bob Sweet just called me to pass on some info on his condition......

He got whacked by the Hurricane, but came out relatively good - he and his family are fine and no major damage to the house.......... but no electricity or mail etc...... if you had a vibe on order it obviously will be delayed for up to two weeks..................... and if you REEEEALLY need to talk to him Email me - I have his number for now.....

    anyway, patience and prayers ~~~

Yeah he seemed in pretty good spirits ---- a huge tree was knocked over and landed BETWEEN them and there neighbors house , no damage....... I think they just lost a few shingles,,,,,, but some nieghbors got whacked bad and some whole rooms ripped off of houses......power out and the news saying 2 weeks or more until power is back......

Bob said he had a Butane soldering iron and was still working on the outstanding orders during daylight !!!!
He also is schemeing on his next pedal ~~~~

Thanks for the kind words guy's!
Still without power (7 days and counting). But the I'm burning the midnight Butane to get these out. Actually these little Butane soldering irons work great!
I'm running the computer on an inverter hooked up to the car so I have to keep this short. Take care,

Oh, BTW...wanna trade a MoFaux for a warm shower???
How bout' a Mojo for a hot shower and a shave :)

Hehe...I'll do that swap, but the plane ticket will kill you.:D

You gotta love a man who loves his work.

I've been putting off buying a Mojo for awhile. I think now - or rather - when he gets back online would be a good time to order....to help pay for new shingles and all.

Glad to hear you are doing ok Bob. :)

I got a new Mojo from Bob about a month ago and it was worth every penny and it was a pleasure to deal with Bob directly. Class act.

Yeah but you did it in a thread from 2005 about a great guy who’s no longer with us. Seems a little disrespectful.

Bob unfortunately passed away several years ago, must be approaching 10 years by now? I bought 2 pedals directly from him back in the early 2000’s.
Why are you resurrecting a thread about Bob, that has nothing to do with Sweetsound or Bob, to talk about yourself?

FWIW, I take it this way - Its a reminder about a great guy who’s no longer with us.

I still have a 18 watt chassis I got in a trade with him. I should build it up.

Wish Bob was still here so I could tell him how much I love the 90’s Vibe Unit. Best vibe I ever played and I’ve tried all of them.
