You got yours already?
Between this one, the Friedman JJ Jr and the SLO30 also to come, that makes 3 20-30w amps I'd love to get and compare side by side for my compact dual mono / Stereo / WDDW rig.
pshhh. I wish dude. I’d love to take one of these for a spin. Reinhold dropped this on his FB.
I’m digging every thing about it.
probably soon. You ordered 2 correct?
I can’t wait!! I have the 25 and among a room full of amps that thing stands tall. So great. This likely even better!!!
This with a metal grill, cream chicken heads, and 2x6CA7s...ahhhhh.
If i could i would order the old classic
Black vinyl. wheat grill
White mini chickenheads
Can you post a pic of the original one you have
Just curious as to what he changed
From the 3534 looks like about 12 knobs on the beast
Left to right
4 switches and 2 push buttons
Dang! If this sounds like a 101B only smaller?
I've been hoping for years for the Blue Channel to be available in a smaller package.
The sound & feel of that amp in a smaller package, please:
The first switch over master
Pres would seem to
The others 3 sets are likely the pre eq switches 3 pos on the green channel
The 2 buttons would likely
Be channel and boost ?
Does it still have a reactive load built into it? Looks like a great amp!
It does not. Believe they were trying to keep the price down. It’s $1995
I like that; really looking forward being able to play & hear this baby XTC.
The old/early custom 100B I posted above (and that is in my avatar) is the only multi-channel amp I've ever played that I felt was on par with my old classic single channel 60's/70's amps as far as playing feel, and it was just sounding massive & fantastic with a unique mean character.
If only I could find that back in a smaller package that would be awesome.
Hopefully those XTC 3534 will be available for real including in Europe once they're officially launched, and avoid the "long / TBC" delays we can see on others for months (thinking about the Friedman JJ Jr for instance, that doesn't sound like it will really hit the streets in Europe anytime soon still).
Did they pull all the speaker sim direct out stuff as well
Do you know?
Na I don't think it has anything of that sort. Personally I don't really care about that stuff. I'd rather have the lower price.
Ya, there's enough outboard options these days that amps don't need it built in.
It is convenient, but never a deal breaker.
