1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Yea, the Bogner is hard on speakers! It has a low mid heft that most don’t, and that translates to a strong sound loud.

Hard to tell with that type of lead playing. You'd have to chug away rhythmically.
What kind of guitar is that. Suhr?

True. I don’t think it would be as immediate for that, but I’m not sure. I’m gonna try it out.

It is a Suhr Modern custom! Solid Pau Ferro neck and fb, waterfall Burl top.

So I recorded a quick clip years ago for a dude that wanted to know how close I could get a Jerry Cantrell tone. I think it does that crushing low end AIC was known for. My Ecstasy was modified to take KT88 power tubes. It was as punchy as I have ever heard a 101b.

That’s awesome! How did the KT88 change the amps tone?

Thanks, Just a bit more open. Not more so than an XTC Classic which I also had at the same time. Greatly preferred the 101b.

Nice. I have been considering getting the 20th, or doing the Cameron mod to mine, but I am enjoying it so much I don’t think I will. I wanted the 20th to be more present live, but after buying the legend/v30 mix, I am good to go.

Dude- You are a great player. After listening, I’m wondering if it would cut thru the mix better with less gain.

Good point. Cut down on some compression and open a bit.
