    Dude was 13 when I saw him open for BB King in Poughkeepsie. The crowd was even more smaller:-}

    Dude has got it! It must be so rewarding to see all these people fill the seats to hear you play. And... I know this is the Gear Page, but how many in the audience do you think are aware of Joe's awesome gear? My guess is less than 1%. Kinda puts all this gear talk into perspective, doesn't it?

    Before I opened the post, i thought to myself, "NOT in Colorado, he's not!"

    Then I opened it and chuckled.

    Carry on ...

    He deserves it, he worked for it and still does
    he (and his band) may be the hardest working people in music right now

    I sure do love Red Rocks. And looky there...good ol' Anton Fig
    on drums. That guys works more than Bonamassa! despite what
    @ELmiguel says!

    And look at what's sitting over the drum set...interesting microphones to
    use for drums!

    That’s it right there. The fact that he doesn’t have to play anything in particular must be nice. There are very few acts in that mid level that aren’t slaves to songs or even styles.

    He can go out there and play a completely different set than last time, and people will show up to hear him play.

    the band does deserve credit. I edited my post
    however, Joe is the motivating factor and founder
    people go to see Joe

    I didn't mean that in a negative way - nor to comment on anything other
    than Anton Fig gets around. Joe Bonamassa certainly works hard, tours
    almost all the time, and deserves the bounty he gets.

    That seems like it would be a pretty cool venue to attend a show at.

    Definitely not my kind of crowd but good for him.

    Can't be upset over that many ppl paying to see a guitarist play live.

    Anymore bashing will result in thread ban and infraction

    That goes for playing the race card as well
