My only excuse, at the moment, is that the doctor told me to lay off playing until my carpal tunnel like symptoms are gone.
On the other hand, I could have been doing some cleaning up around the house, instead of sitting here on my fat arse all day.

Hookers, Booze, and some Jail. I know how to play "A Hard Days Night", though.

Got sucked into a 14-space rack rabbit-hole for a number of years. I still gig on electric plenty but at home I get out an acoustic and start playing.

Literally anything in the world. Gigging tonight and tomorrow... I have enough of a grasp from previous rehearsals..but I like to fine-tune... and right now I'm reading.

One time I turned my Am Std Strat in to a H-S-H super Strat with coil tapping on both humbuckers. Took days to figure out the wiring and get it right. Used it for one gig, didn't like it, and returned it to normal.

Built an oversized vertical 2x12 cab. Came out okay, but for all the time I spent planning/building/troubleshooting (not to mention the materials cost), I would have been much better off just buying one. Ended up taking the speakers out and selling the unloaded cab for almost nothing.

Stripped the pearl white finish of my Yamaha SBG 200 to make it natural.

Misc other tinkering with equipment that's otherwise perfectly fine.

All of these were completely unnecessary wastes of time - LOL.
