I forgot how much I liked them/was impressed by their breadth and imagination as a poppish-sort of band...thought Everything's Alright Forever was their best album. Any other fans?

Not as familiar with them, but in general I'm a fan of the Creation record label they and other shoegaze/britpop bands were part of, with Swervedriver being my favorite. I'm quite attached to that period and style of music.

Yeah, Swervedriver were/are great (didn't they have something new out in the past recent years?)---when imaginative guitar-centric new bands were getting thin on the ground in the 80s, Swervedriver was there to give me hope (well, them and SY, and Live Skull/Come).

Yep - do yourself a major favor and check out all of Adam Franklins solo stuff, under his name

Loved wake up and kingsize a lot. I didn't care too much for their earlier shoe gaze stuff not so much because of the songs, but mostly because the production and recording weren't too great.
