When i get bored with practicing/learning new songs... I just think back to when I first picked up guitar and turned the amp up loud and played whatever chords or notes that popped in and try to find a groove... just enjoy the instrument and the sounds and let whatever is in there come out without any thunkin.

Thanks Mojo. Great reminder to keep it fun. We all get into a rut occasionally and just having fun and getting out of the same patterns and tempos really helps. Mixing styles is also fun. You had me cracking up. How,how,how.

So is that a block? Playing with others is great, even in practice.

That is a worse problem rhan being bored with practice imo.
