I was a fan of Baker when I was younger. Still am, but not as much. I already knew quite a bit about from reading, watching "Let's Get Lost.", etc. Reading Deep in a Dream: The Long Night of Chet Baker a year or two ago was pretty much all the Chet I'll need for the rest of my life. Don't need to see Ethan Hawke play him.
Chet was such an asshole, but it's kind of hard not to simultaneously root for the guy and feel sorry for him while reading that book. The ultimate pretty boy anti-protagonist? I love Miles' take on him.
