1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

I managed to get some tracks down on the BR600. It took me a while to begin to understand things. I think the fact that the controls are used for multiple functions depending on what screen you are in made it a little difficult. I did this song pretty quickly once I got going. I only used a bass, guitar and mic, all of the amp sims are internal to the recorder. I was so excited to get it down that I put it on my Myspace music page. Check it out if you like. It is the default song that comes on..."The Girl For Me".

I am liking mine a lot. The more familiar I get the better.

Thanks to everyone who listened to the song! I took the unit to rehearsal but the recording was a bit overdriven....I used a 4 channel mixer and then went into the hi impedance input. Unfortunately the bass drum and bass guitar were too loud. I forgot to bring headphones! I think next time I can probably get a decent recording.
