I got mine yestreday.. unbelievable the quality of this pedal. Kevin is a friggin pedal guru. I'm gonna buy1-2 more after X-mas. Highly recommend this!
Exactly. I have been using it to shape the tone on my amp in my effects loop, since the amp's tone controls are a little limiting [zinky blue velvet]. I ended up buying a micro amp to use an effects loop boost (boosts into the front input don't seem to work for me), but *d'oh* I should have done what you did and just bought another sniper for the boost.Originally posted by 58lespaulman
It used to sound like there was a blanket over the sound, and now it has clarity and warmth.
I've never tried a sniper, though I want to as a pre-distortion eq. However, I am uber-satisfied with my boss eq-20, they really overhauled their eq design on that baby. Mayhap one day someone can compare the two?The Sniper is quiet... no hissing or anything... PRISTINE sound... like glass. This is "THE" eq pedal. Every rig should have at least one of these. Everytime I walk past my guitar, I gotta pick it up and play. 'Nuff said!
Any web site for the Antelope..?Originally posted by dyer_maker
I've always wanted a BJF Sea Blue EQ but couldn't justify the scratch. I was about to pull the trigger on the Sniper and then saw the ad for the Antelope Morning Dew. Should be here shortly. Supposed to be dead quiet but a Parametric EQ vs the Boss graphic. It's my first foray into the EQ department. Hope I won't be disappointed.
Does he do the mods for an Ibanez Graphic EQ as well?Originally posted by 58lespaulman
It such an improvment, that it just put it up with all the best pedals I've owned.. Way to go Kevin from tone-jam.com . I'm going to get two or three more for when we hit the road. Sniper mode rules.
