Boss ME-70 straight to mixer?

Yes, you can. I don't see any speaker emulation, but it has pre-amp emulation. It also has "recording out" which is what you would probably want to use. I cannot guarantee you would like it, but you can certainly do it. You might want to add a Tech21 speaker emulator.

I've actually been going direct to 2 Alto TS212's and it sounds great. I just want to add a small 4 channel board so I can sing and play at my desk.

The record out is speaker emulated. That is a trick for fuller sound by putting a dummie plug in the record out and it kicks it into the amp out. Better sounding.

I have a dummy plug in the headphones/rec out. Sounds pretty good.
