Not sure if this has been suggested, I''m sure it has, but, what are the chances Boss will announce a CE500 or a Modulation based 500 series pedal that would compete with the Mobius?
Currently researching a decent trem pedal, preferably with tap tempo and being a fan of various chorus/vibe tones, got me thinking that surely Boss/Roland have been working on one.
Is there a thread i've missed, what are your thoughts?
    My guess is they will.

I think you're the first to announce this pedal. If you're working for Boss, I'd put it at 90%. If you're not, I'd put it at 0%.

I'd look at the Keeley Super Mod Workstation that'll be coming out soon. 8 modulation effects (trem, harmonic trem, filter/wah, chorus/vibrato, phaser, rotary, flanger and double tracker), tap tempo, with the ability to use 2 effects at once.

Coming in at $300 which is what a MOD500 would probably cost, and also half the size.

I think it'd make a lot of sense for them to do it but to compete in my mind it'd need to have the pre/post feature that the Mobius has. So many people make these pedals that do everything but half of the effects need to go pre-dirt and half need to go post-dirt. That makes those pedals pretty worthless for me.

The Mobius seems like a pedal that is ripe for direct competition.

pre-post AND integrating 2 circuits at once like the DD500 can do with delay types. Probably the most frequent issue i see people bring up about the mobius is that it can only do 1 effect at a time. Doing a multi-mod with pre/post and 2 effects simultaneously would make a killer pedal

Yeah, i'd be all over that.
    Really enjoying the DD500,.
I can't see why they wouldn't do it, maybe they would stick to un update of the CE20,
but surely they can see the potential.
