Boss OD3 or MXR Modified OD?

I got a chance to get these pedals cheap, wondering how similar they are. Should I get both or stick to one?
I'm play Les Pauls into a JTM45. Brit-style blues rock.

I have both. The OD3 to me has more gain. I think the modified OD sounds very close to the OD1. Also want to mention that i run them thru my DRRI. If i had to lose one of them it would be the OD3. Not that i would want to lose it
