This is new!
This should be the dedicated thread to this pedal...not the one combined with the SY-1
Boss has a user manual on their site: https://www.boss.info/global/support/by_product/rc-10r/owners_manuals/
Unfortunately there is no information on the midi parameters/expression or the footswitch. I assume the footswitch will be similar to the RC-3 (Stop/Tempo and Up/Down). They refer to a missing "Parameter Guide".
This one looks cool. Especially how you can put in drum fills with the rhythm side foot switch.
Wish it was a little cheaper is all lol.
One miss is that writing phrases only occurs while stopped. This means that recording multiple live loops and switching between them is limited to the two phrases in the current memory location.
Would be great to be able to record live a C section (by saving current A/B phrases into a memory location 1, changing memory location, recording C and saving into memory 2) and then change between A/B/C that you just recorded at will. Or perhaps use separate memories for A versus B since changing a memory will likely start on A.
Suspect that write is not footswitch controllable anyway.
Guessing there’s no midi clock sync? Parameter guide is missing. Curious what the midi controls are
No aux in or headphone out.
Hey wait a minute, the guy in the first video. Isn't he the same guy demoing Neunaber 's products?
They need to release the parameter guide asap. It seems like all of the features are going to be there instead of the manual.
I want one, availability?
This looks pretty cool and this product category is a no-brainer. Hoping the drum sounds are good.
wonder if this means Boss will be updating the RC-300 next
Oh dang, this might replace my RC-2
It seems neat but I don't like the drum loops that much more than the stock loops built into the RC-3. And I certainly don't like them as much as my Trio. I'll stick with my current setup but I'm glad to see BOSS attempting something like this.
If this thing can spit out a click on one channel and send looped stuff to my guitar amp I might be buying. Been looking for an easy way to sync up loops with a live drummer.
Or create something in the 500 line with 4+ switches, live looping, more flexability on the drums ala beatbuddy?
Still wished they had stuffed one or two more switches on the 10R. There's room had they laid it out slightly different.
Nice to see this thread starting to take off.
The other one has devolved into a back and forth over some Boss distortion pedal.
Documentation is pretty light on info on the various menu options for loops (one shot, autostart, count in) and rhythms (effects, routing).
The Parameters Documentation should cover all this....
