Boss Rv-5 question

I have my entire pedal board run through a power strip, so every time I play, I just switch it on. Every time I do, my RV-5 always starts out on. None of the other pedals do?? I'm running it mono. Anybody know why?

My TR-2 does the same thing, but i really haven't had any real problems, and i just switch it off.

I have the same pedal, and I've just accepted that as its normal behavior. Besides, I don't mind having a little reverb grease by default.

Lots of Boss pedals will do that...My OD-2R (from 1994-1999) does not turn on once powered though. Maybe it's something new :/

My RV-5 does that too. The keeleys (bd-2 and tr-2) and tu-2 don't. Doesn't bother me much though.

My DD-5 does the same thing.
It's habit to simply turn it off after powering up my board.
