Thinking of trying one these. I hated my old snarks. I had problems with tracking the low e string and also seemed all around inconsistant at times etc. Maybe the boss clip on is better? Want to get my tuners off my board for a more streamlined smaller board situation. Also considering the shadow pickup ring tuner as well. Can anyone weigh in on this? My snarks could not knock off my TU-12 or my TIM A & B output box to use as a mute. Also with my ES 345 at stage volume the snark would fail me while the band is playing. It could not track at all. I think the bass freq.,drums, vocals in the monitor would throw it off.

My only complaint with the shadow is it won't work on my tele or SG special because those guitars don't have pick up rings plus it gets expesive tring to equip every guitar.

I am thinking I have to stay with my TU-12 and T1m mute set up.

You should also try a Planet Waves Mini headstock tuner.

Yep it's a lot smaller and more sturdy.
