So, I have been doing some searching here on TGP, looking for "boutique" BF similar to DRRI. So far I have, Vintage Sound, Gries, Bruno CT, Allen, SDG Vintage, Oldfield and Stu-Daddy.

Basically, I was wondering if I am forgetting anyone, and whether or not any of these is greatly superior than the others.

Headstrong is another option but I think the Bruno CT22 takes the cake.

Bogner Deunde has a good tone with its 6V6's, at 15 watts.

I find I do this a little too often...but I'll say it again. I love the botique stuff....%13....own a goodsell...but if you're looking for the botique stuff you can afford a real BFDR...why not just buy one of those, replace the speaker (to keep the originality if you decide to sell) and sound like what you're thinking?

Having said that...I love my Goodsell. Very open sounding...like the old Fenders.
