Hey, no shame. I saw them a few years back and the whole band, George included, just killed. Great show!

Really glad I listened to that, have to say I've always hated Culture Clubs music and never thought much of Boy George, but I've been sat hear listening to that song on repeat for a while now.
Agree with the slight Robbie Williams feel to it, but I do like the song

He has the slightest bit of Tom Jones in his voice now. I mean that as a big compliment. Boy George's voice is much deeper and grittier now. I have been listening to this song for three days straight. Most new music is a joke. I wish more great stuff like this was being made today.

Yep, good voice but a boring, cliche-ridden song.

All I know is every time I hear, "Do you really want to hurt me?" all I can think is "Yes!" lol, I hate that song.

Agreed. I have to say I couldn't look past that piece of bacon on the side of face though.

I've always liked his music, at least that which has made it to my ears. Doesn't necessarily fit my general "genre set," but always very musical--melodic I guess would be a better word.

'Do You Really Want to Hurt Me' is a MONSTER of a song. George is a serious writer.

George was always a Soul singer. He's Irish.

I will still take this new song over anything I have heard him do before. Maybe it is the deeper and grittier voice he has now. Man do I wish I could wake up one morning and be able to sing like that. I would probably never shut up.:D

When I first heard his voice on this, I thought it was Colin Hay.
I've always liked Boy George's voice and music. This doesn't change that. Nice to hear guitar on it.

Because of when I grew up, I have a soft spot for him and the guy has more talent in his pinky than I will ever have, in toto, but I would like to hear him do some more challenging or raw material. I can appreciate the clip for what it is, but it veers into David Brent territory.

This is a hit, great vocal, love the rich weave of guitars. Go George!

    +1 ^

I used to think Culture Club was everything that was wrong with music, but he is definitely artistic. I will him success.

I always thought BG was great in Culture Club. Did he write the lyrics too, for their songs? I felt like CC had a really unique sound in a very eclectic time for pop music.
