I'm always impressed by the stuff that he can do like this, reminding us of what taste he has and what a great guitar player he is. And I'm always depressed at how I keep screwing up when I try to get a direct Youtube link attached, so all I can offer is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTvjFhJVc5Y

(and, like Cooder's Bop Til You Drop that whole album killed, as did Skagg's later Dig )---it's so too bad his Q rating w/ the gen-pub is based on stuff like Lido Shuffle)

What's wrong with Lido shuffle?

I recently went back into the Boz Scaggs catalog, and man does he have some great music. Yeah, a couple big hits decades ago, but so much more to dig into.

Unlike Rod Stewart and Paul McCartney who released albums of jazz standards and IMHO butchered them (especially McCartney) Scaggs' two discs of jazz standards are sublime.

There is a DVD from 2004 called "Boz Skaggs Live, Greatest Hits"

Great band, performance and recording. If a fan, a must have......

Yes a gigantic fan of Boz Scaggs. That Come Home album got me psyched about the blues again. I still play 2 songs off that disc in my band and on my live album.
