I turned my friend onto a deal on a Bradley Jazz Bass copy for $50. I can't find much about this company. Made in Japan, the neck feels really nice. Comes with covered humbucker pickups which seems really different. But very 70s style, sunburst with tortoise shell guard, block inlays on a rosewood fretboard. Had ashtray covers at one point and a finger rest.

Took the neck off and there are no markings, took the control cover off to check the pots, some weird brand 500k pots that need to be replaced.

    Anyone ever heard of Bradley?

Interesting. So this could be as old as the 1970s?

Need pix. House brand for Veneman Music and their mail order division, Music Emporium. If its MIJ figure mid eighties or earlier. From your description 70s seems likely. Veneman was based in the DC area (MD and VA) and the name comes from a road in Bethesda, MD.
