Bought this new straight from the Mad Professor Custom Shop in Finland. Its a Honey Bee for sure--complete w/ bee and honey pot drawing on the inside plate. Got the signature paint job, handwriting, and most importantly... sound. BUT... no BJFE to be seen on it. I don't really care, but do you folks think this will hurt the resale? I don't intend to sell it but its always something to take into account. Do other folks have newish bjfe pedals w/o the old markings?

I guess it's just a mistake on BJ's part- simply forgot to mark it
If anything, you'd probably get more for it, LOL- just like a misprinted coin or something... :D

    Hi,

I can say there would be extremely few BJF pedals without BJFE marking, but these are all handpainted and now and then something odd happens.

    Hi,

Oh, text is applied with a 00 syntethic brush. There's only one BJF pedal that has text from a pcb track pen and that's an orange Dyna Red Distortion, and that was a colour experiment in getting an oil shade that would match the nitro red after the factory that made the nitro paint had blown up.:stir

I was going to repaint that but wanted to see how the text would match.........and then decided that it was nice as it were.

Oh well, I wonder where that unit is now.

    Have fun

How 'bout "BJ" vs "BJFe" logo'd units? A testament to their handbuilt attributes...Hi Bjorn! :BEER
