I'm just curious - does anyone know what kind of guitar Brian Setzer plays on acoustic songs such as the "So They Say It's Christmas" and "Sammy Davis City"?

Dunno 'bout the xmas tune, but for the Freddie Green/big band jazz stuff, I think I've read he used a big, hollow D'Angelico.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. I've never seen him play anything but a Gretsch, so I wasn't sure if maybe he was using a piezo on a Gretsch to get the acoustic sound, or if he was playing a more acoustic-based archtop. I'm not at all surprised by those two picks, nothing but classy guitars for Mr. Setzer!

I know there were two nice old D'Angelico's of his for sale on Ebay a few years back. I think he has someone list them for him.

Man, not that I could afford it, but I would LOVE to get my hands on one of those! I D'Angelico would be cool enough, but one owned by BS? Icing on the cake!
