Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. I just purchased a new 2019 ‘61 reissue SG from Sweetwater and when i changed strings noticed the saddles on the bridge did not have any kind of grooves! Aren’t they supposed to be made at the factory? It’s an ABR by the way....

I always slot my own bridge saddles using my nut files.

The question is; is it supposed to come like this from the factory? It’s been a long time since i bought a new guitar

I see the problem. Sweetwater offers a 55 point inspection. Shoulda gotten a 56.
