For all you Pink Floyd fans out there, this show is an absolute must see!
    Last night's concert song list:

    Shine on you crazy diamond
    Learning to Fly
    High Hopes
    Welcome to the machine
    Mother
    Money
    Us and Them
    Pigs
    Echoes
What do you want from me
    Time
    Great Gig in the Sky
    Nobody Home
    Wish you were here
    One of these days
    Comfortably numb
    Run like Hell

The sound was just like the original Pink Floyd. Guitars, sax, vocals, keys and special effects. It was great being in an acoustically near perfect hall, the Benedum Center.

The light show was purchased from Pink Floyd, and was beautiful as these pictures will show you. Enjoy.

I wish that I would have been able to make it last night. I remember that light/video set up from when Pink Floyd was here for the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour. It was at Three Rivers Stadium then though. I'm actually amazed that it fit in the Benedum.

I can't take credit for this video but it does a good job of showing just how good this group is.

    Wow- incredible.

I wonder how much the original PF gets in royalties from something like this?

That's how you do a tribute band! I'd love to be in something like that. Thought about starting a PF tribute, but without having the instrumentation, it would be hard to do. Plus, I'd want to do it right.. which would mean a bad ass light show.

I also don't think there's much of a demand for something like that where I live... so it ended up being too expensive to do in my area.

That guy playing DG's part, Damien Darlington, used to be in the Austrailian Pink Floyd Show who are also very good.
I saw them when they first got started ion the mid-90's in the UK.
A friend of mine ended up being one of their roadies( he's too stupid to be called a tech) and said they had to pay a royalty to Pink Floyd for every time they used their official sound effects stuff, such as the intor clocks on Time, of about £500 per night.
This was about 12 years ago so I might be off a little with the exact value and I'm sure it's a lot higher now.

Interesting to see that Darlington appears to have set up on his own.

That show would cost a fortune to do. They sold out two shows months ahead of time. Pittsburgh was there first stop of their tour. I saw them last year and I plan on seeing them every year. They are amazing.

They're playing about an hour away from where I'm staying while visiting London. The night before at the same venue is One Night of Queen.

That is great stuff! I have seen the Australian PF years ago, and went to see St.Louis'
"El Monstero" on Christmas Day evening this last Christmas. I believe they played 7 or so sold out shows in a row Christmas week. I had a friend weasel me two passes and I brought my son. Was an amazing show. I'll never forget it.

It's the same group. Same people, same stage show, everything but the name. There was some problem with a promoter, so the group split from him, but he had rights to the name, Australian Pink Floyd. So they changed it to Brit.
Last year when I saw them they were called Australian, this year Brit.

My tickets were much better this year and that made the show better, but they blew me away both years.

New videos added. Just some short clips of mostly the lead work.
The sound quality was of course much better than my smart phone was able to capture, but you'll get a decent idea of the quality.
