Broken Acoustic guitar (bridge trouble)

This is a camping guitar-- I really don't care what it looks like-- if it sounds halfway decent and plays okay I'm good.

But the bridge has come up, I glued it back down and clamped it for a couple of days-- but after 6 months, it's back where it was. I don't think just glueing it will do it.

What'll happen if I put a couple of screws through the bridge? Are there other solutions? Or should I just chuck it?

Screws never do anything positive to a bridge. It needs to come off and be cleaned, because you need to glue wood to wood, not old glue to old glue. Cheers,

ayep, but since you could just buy another plywood "camping guitar" for $100, it might not be worth the bother.
