Brookwood Leather Straps

Based on what I've read here, I called Bob Schell at Brookwood Leather and ordered a strap for my Collings I-35. He had me take measurements, send him a photo of the guitar, and talked to me about what I like in a strap. He even told me not to pay until I received the strap and decided whether I liked it (I paid him right then and there). The next morning, he emailed me and told me my strap was made and even sent me pictures of it! And, the price, including shipping was $30-40 less than a Moody. I was so impressed with him and the process, I wanted to share. Great guy, great service, great experience. Here's a picture of the strap.

I will let you know as soon as it arrives. But everything I've heard is yes. Bob sized the strap to me and my guitar and used the softest leather. I currently use a Moody, so will be able to compare to that.

It's wonderful. The leather is so soft. Bob talked me into a 3" width and he was right. I haven't played out with it, yet, but I have put in several hours at home. Anyway, very much recommended.

Bob is the absolute best and his straps are second to none - simply beautiful pieces. I don't recall exactly how long it took from Bob's receipt of my order to delivery, but it wasn't long at all.

I've had the same experience with Bob, I usually have gotten the strap in a week to 10 days. Great service and product!

Bob is the MAN! Check these straps he just made for me. The brown one is for my Pale Whiskey R9, and the black with blue stitching is for my Ice Water Tyler. I can just say now... Bob's straps are the real deal. Just amazing!
