Clearly, whoever Tony Bruno has in his shop attaching the "Bruno" faceplate to his products must be drinking (or smoking) something. Look at the reverb unit above, and also look at auction number 7341228925 on ebay (Bruno Underground 30)

Can somebody please call him and tell him to put his logo on straight?

The owner is a friend of Tonys, and got the newer name plate you see later. He installed it himself using only one screw, as the screw holes did not line up with the original "Bruno" plate holes in the chasis. He did not want to modify the unit and drill a new (additional) hole. The original Bruno faceplate is included. :)

I paid 899. I put in a call to Ken, and he checked with Tony. He said they were excellent units, so I had to have one. Excellent parts and transformers. I have a feeling it is going to be WELL worth it. :)

I really don't mistake Bruno amplifiers for crap. Crap is usually a sort of brown hue (for exact color please see your local Sherwin Williams store), also less hard and dense than a cabinet box. There is also a lack of electrical current in a pile of feces, not to mention it can't amplify a guitar signal (Trust me I've tried). The aroma protruding from dung is also rather unpleasant, whereas a new amplifier can smell like wood, chemicals, tolex, or all of the the above.

Whatever you say. ;) Vox did not seem to think so when they hired him out of everyone in the world to design the HWRI. There TOP OF THE LINE model.

    Guitar Player Magazine says...

"The Bruno Underground 30 was the solid winner in Guitar Player Magazine's February 1997 boutique shootout between 23 of the worlds finest hand built guitar amps. It was also awarded Guitar Player Magazine's highly coveted The Year's best Gear award for 1997 in their November 1997 issue."

    20th century Guitar.....

    Cowtipper 35...

"If you don’t think a blackface Fender’s tone can be improved upon, think again Tony’s nailed it!"

    :D

    Back on point
What makes Benson great is that he doesnt use Brunos"

You are probably one of the jealous builders who lost to Bruno in the shootouts. LOL!

I read the Komet was the best amp in the world. Hated it. read the trainwreck was the best. Buzz box. Read the Allesandro high end English was king. Ear splitting treble. (LOVE the Rotty though!) Heard the Bogners were killer...The Shiva is VERY nice, XTC was very thin with no cleans. I read Victorias KILLED the fender Bassman RI...I like the fender more.

Care to try again ghost man?

It proved mine. What I read has zero influence on what I hear. Thats why I ALWAYS post clips, and ALWAYS blind test. :dude Thats exactly how I found the Brunos. I have been preaching that from day one. My ears backed up what GP found in direct A\B testing of ALL of those amps. :AOK
