    It's great

One of the best and most transparent.
It will help if you have a line in level on your processor as the loop is placed after the master vol.....so rediculous volumes could overdrive the effect in the loop.

    Bottom line though...........great loop

I've got an SD30 and use pedals for pretty much everything.

I've got a couple of different delays and they all sound pretty damn good in the loop.

I never play super loud, and have never noticed anything that bothered me.

I play a lot of spacey blues type **** ala Floyd.

I've been really impressed with this amp so far.

A touch of reverb in the loop makes the cleans 10000x better IMO. :munch

+1 to both above comments. I use a delay (DL4) in the loop and couldn't be happier.

Good loop, but I didn't have good results with pedals in the loop.
So far 2 different delays and 2 different EQs...they all noticeably sucked tone. It also is important to use good cables.
I wound up using an old rack mounted Midiverb for my delay, which sounds wonderful. It has the send/return/mix knobs right on the front which works well with the SD loop.
Some of the rack mounted stuff is actually less expensive than the pedals, if you can work it into your gear.

I run an Echo Park and a Verbzilla in the loop of my SD18 and it's great.
    Zero problems for me.
    Rock on.

excellent loop. Whatever i throw in there works and sounds great.....

FYI - effects in general sound great with Budda amps. In front of the amp or in the loop.......it's all good.
