Is everyone using the 1 button switchdoctor one? Can you use a 2 button with the Budda to switch another function or can you only footswitch between channels?

I looked at the Hosa one but it doesn't have an LED. I know that there is a Boss one but it looked a little cheesy to me (I'm not anti-Boss normally).

Any other options or sites to buy a footswitch from?

I'm using a generic "Marshall Footswitch" one from Amazon. Never tried a 2 button one and not sure what it could control.

I would think a Marshall foot switch would work. I just scanned over a PDF file of the manual online and it looks like the only function is to switch channels.
I have an old Stringmaster that came with a 3 button switch, so I had to check and make sure if what I remembered about the SD series jived with the internet.
Don't know about the Dr switches other than seeing them all over eBay.

SuperDrive 2 series only have channel switching, 1 switch..... no led... you can use a self powered led footswitch.. uses a 9v battery... go to www.ampfootswitch.com gettin one of these for my Budda SD30

I'm using the single button LED Switch Doctor and it works great. Been using it for several years gigging 2-5 times a month. No issues.
Nice thing is if the battery goes dead the led won't work but you can still switch channels.

Yep same here. There is not another function on the amp that a second switch would be able to operate.

Regarding a second button/function: my memory is that many Buddas "back in the day" were set up so you could run them with two cabs and switch one of them in and out. Like everyone else above, I used generic one-button switches when I had my Superdrive 30.

That was only for the Switchmaster series. Jeff did away with that with the SuperDrive series

Saturnworks makes great multi-use switch pedals, too.

There is a mod available for the SuperDrives that would probably make use of a two button footswitch. I've heard Jeff mention that he's modded some SuperDrives to have a footswitchable boost that works on both channels.
It's a standard feature on his new East Duality amps.

Ended up getting the Switch Doctor one...I liked that the it had a battery for the LED (instead of needing a 9v connection) and that it would work even if the battery died. And it was the only one that was PURPLE!! Thanks for everyone's input.
