I generally find listening to Buddy Guy at least once a day improves my mood at least 10 fold. Thanks for the fix!

This is off of Buddy's "Bring 'em In" CD - it's a great album and won a grammy.

Who is that playing the white strat in the first vid? I've seen him with BG on several vids. Sorry for the minor derail. Thanks for posting the video OP.

Ric Hall, BG's backup player....and he slays! That guy is amazing...he can do the BG thing to perfection...super tasteful, always great tone and a really cool guy. I chatted with him for about 30 mins after the last BG show I went to. Said he is playing a "Jeff Beck Strat all stock with that skinny neck".

    :agree again.

The last time I saw Buddy I ran into Rick out at the merchandise table! He is a super cool, super friendly guy. He makes you feel like the two of you are peeps from the old days.

    Great player, super nice cat.

yeah Ric is good peoples, they played a long show in the South Carolina sumertime heat, Buddy and the rest of the guys had left...no one else was hanging out back stage waiting around. But he saw us there waiting to talk to him and just put his gear down and acted like he was happy to see us or like we were long lost family he hadnt seen in decades. The dude can play too! Probably doesn't hurt having a guy like Buddy to mentor you either!
