very impressive. Always nice to hear Bubby rippin' it up. What a raw aggressive tone. 8" speaker? -Wow!

#6 is my favorite. "Buddy rides again!" sweet!

Do you know which Lentz Buddy was playing?

From the pics on the Z forum, it looks like a Tele, but I could not tell if it was a Lentz or not.

Buddy is playing his prototype LENTZ. It has the T style pups ,& hardware. Only a few were made, before they finalized the designs. Buddy makes anything sound better !

If he was getting those corpulant tones with a Tele inspired design, can you imagine what you would get out of a fat juicy Les Paul??? Oh the joy!

Well, to me, it sounds good but not great (of course the playing is killer)... makes me glad I decided to go for the Carmen Ghia instead of the Mini-Z

there's a slightly small-box/Pignose quality to the sound which I suppose is to be expected but wasn't what I expected for some reason. (Yes it sounds a LOT better than a Pignose tho')

Now if I ever want that old school blues on Maxwell Street street musician raw sound, I know where I can find it... but I was led to believe the Mini-Z was capable of studio quality soaring blues sounds.... again glad I'm getting a Carmen Ghia

HOLY MOTHER OF LORD.... THAT'S STRAIGHT INTO THE 8" SPEAKER? DAMN. AS YODA WOULD SAYA, I HAVE TO GO UNLEARN WHAT I'VE LEARNED ABOUT AMPS.... AS WELL AS, "JAW DROPPING, MINI Z, IS."

Best sounding Z clips I have heard.

Buddy smokes! Reminds me very much of a local guitarist.

To fully appreciate BW you've got to see him perform live, where he can really get things happening. The only guitarist other than Landreth to give me a bad dose of chill bumps!

BTW, nice clips of the mini Z too.

The clips I posted are the pix/clips I made with my camera of Buddy recording the sound clips he made for Dr.Z. So the ones they put up on the web site will be from the recording studio. Buddy gave me a CD of the final recordings. He sent one to Z too via his webmaster....They sound KILLER !!

Hey Zane that pic of the Lentz guitar looks nice. Could you direct me to their web site for more info on their guitars? Thanks!
