I'm sorely tempted having heard some very good-sounding demos but, having read about the footswitch that changes channels all by itself, along with some other issues, I'm naturally cautious about splashing the cash.

Does anyone know if these well-documented issues have been addressed yet?

I got one about two months ago. The reverb quit working in a few days, and the standby quit working within a week or two, so based on that, I'm saying they're still not ready for prime time.

All reports I've read indicate the switch problem was resolved but was replaced by above problems apparantly

I have played through a V22 regularly for the last year and a half. Have gigged with it at clubs and play it every Sunday morning at church. I've not had any issues with reverb or channel switching. I really like the plexi-ish tone that comes out of it.

I've had a V22 for over a year and it's never failed at anything. I don't use the footswitch, though I tried it once and it didn't fail.

    I love the amp.

The channel switching problem should be solved since 2010 models. Look here
I have mine 9 months now, use it for band practice and gigging. Still going strong.

Thank you. I see the jury's still out on some other issues though. I can't afford to take that chance on a gigging amp; and as I can't afford anything better it looks like it'll be either a Bandit or a Cube.

    Have anyone saved page?

    Here is capture of issue:

My amp has already no warranty. Could anyone help, if simple change of 5V regulator will fix the issue?

vbf: Please, respect the topic, which is about issue of batch towards the end of 2009. So your post about good function without further information is useless.
