With all the build threads lately I figured I would post one too. It's probably gonna be slow going as I'm only working on it on saturdays. It's a singlecut design that I've been working on. The body is a quilted maple top with a spanish cedar back. It will either have a multi laminate neck or a one piece south american mahogany, I haven't decided yet. Here are some pics.

I like it. Nice choice on the upper bout.

Thanks! I've had mixed reactions from people who've seen it. I think once the neck is on the design will come together more visually.

I like it! The upper horn is similar to a Gadow's bolt-on guitars, which I also like.

Did some work on the guitar today. I cut the fret slots, and radiused the board.

Interesting piece of wood for the fretboard. Lots of character. What is it?

I'm digging what I'm seeing so far. Nice take on the single cut design. Familiar without going copycat.

The fingerboard is old growth brazilian rosewood. Thanks for the compliment. I'm excited to see it come together!

Fretboard on, headstock shaped and brazzy veneer on. Tuner holes drilled.

Cool looking project! I like the fretboard a lot, not something you see every day.

Frets cut, or are they just marked?

    Looking great so far.
