Lets see any guitars that you have that were made with rotted wood :eeks, like Spalted or Burl Maple, etc.

I'm normally not attracted to designs that are kind of les paul/tele hybrid, but that guitar is beautiful!

    Thank you!
I'm not usually either. In fact I haven't the slightest idea how to categorize it. 3 pickups but tele-ish body with a bolt on neck. But when I saw it, I absolutely fell in love. I don't usually buy from unkown builders either but I thought it was worth the risk. I can't wait to hear it.

Spalt and Burl wood is normally the product of disease, decay, fungus and insect attacks so "rotted" wood is a proper description. It results in some beautiful patterns though as can be seen in this thread.

The top 2 are Rob Allen basses, an MB2 on the left and a Mouse 30 on the right. The one on the bottom is a Stambaugh.

Did anyone grab one of those PRS guitars earlier this year or towards the end of last year?

I remember they had a limited run.

They were kind of low end guitars, but I am curious.

I've got a big chunk of Cedar burl that's been sitting for 15 years now, been thinking about building the guitar out of it lately.... need to get inspired I guess.
