burning thru phase inverter tubes in 2 months..

in a carvin v3mc.
when i first started having this problem,i took it to a tech and he said the bias was set much too high from the factory.he set it at the factory spec,and it was fine..for a couple months.
i only use the clean channel with everything on 10,except the channel master volume,which is on 2 or so.there is another global master volume that is on 10 as well,cause thats where it sounds the best.

any suggestions about extending tube life are welcome.however,the only reason everything is on 10 is because thats where it sounds the best.

Are you replacing the tube w/ the same type and brand ?

because the preamp tube closest to the power tubes is failing every two months.
what happens is a staticky crackle that disappears when i change that tube,and that tube only.

nope. different every time.last one was a jj,previous was a nos mullard cv 4002( ithink thats the designation).
