I find myself needing small stuff such as trem springs but I hate paying more shipping than what the item cost.

Anyplace got free shipping or reasonable

For parts, I've found the best shipping prices on ebay.

I hear ya. I love StewMac's stuff but their shipping seems unreasonable.

Definitely eBay. Sometimes the item is priced lower than normal and free shipping is offered. I guess that tells you how low the vendor's cost must be.

If you have Amazon Prime it's probably worth checking Amazon. Sometimes a company will have their deliveries "fulfilled" by Amazon and you can get the Prime shipping rates.

Yes, check Amazon for most anything these days. I just bought a hard to find roller bridge there for a guitar I'm working on for a guy. It was through an "amazon store" & has the best price (& free shipping) of anyone including Ebay.

I just bought a whole mess of stuff on ebay for a project the other day, the new shopping cart feature is helpful too. I used anthillmusic and thestratosphere for a tele parts build. Very good pricing.

WD Music Products has a Priority Mail shipping option which is usually cheaper than UPS for small items.
