Buying Pickup's

Hey guys, I got a strat from a friend and it came with HSS configuration I want to change it too SSS Apart from eBay is there a shop online or anywhere I can buy just a single coil bridge pickup for my it? Preferably Fender so its a matched set, and apart from another pick guard is there anything else I need to buy to do the conversion?

The obvious problem without changing the pickguard is that a single coil won't fit the humbucker hole. The two approaches left to solve this would be to get a humbucker to single coil adapter mounting or to go with a humbucker sized P90. I at one point thought about doing something similar, so I know the adapters exist, but I don't remember where I found it - Google is your buddy.

Pickguard, order from Fender (Mr. Gearhead), because to get the color match with your other plastic parts. With a Strat.,if you WANT to change the color, you will have to order the p-guard kit (w/backplate), and the Strat. acc. kit (all the other plastic parts)...routing don't much matter, You didn't say what model/year you have, Your guitar may be 'swimming pool' routed. Just keep an eye on the emporium, SSS guards pop up all the time. The swap is easy, just make sure you have the correct screw type, Fender made a few different types through the years.

I've actually have one more SSS to convert to HSS, I'm loving PAFs, and you just can't get that same tone from a SC if you're playing with some gain. Put a Suhr SSV humbucker in that thing and you'll see what I mean.

I suggest getting a loaded pickguard with the pickups you want. Makes the swap much easier and you can always swap back if you need to.

Its a Fender Deluxe Player 2006 model with Loaded fat strat pickguard pickups etc.
What does swimming pool routed mean? Sorry for my ignorance in advance and thanks for everyones input
