So, I want tighter bass out of my DRRI, and a bigger sound, not necessarily louder though. I replaced the stock Jensen with a 12" Cannabis Rex. Now I'm wondering this though:

Can I take the Cannabis Rex out, and put that and the Jensen in a 2x12 cab, and then run the speakerless DRRI into it?

Would this help me get what I'm going after?

Do you see any problems arising out of this?

    Thanks!

Oh yeah, also, if that would work, any suggestions for the cab?

The answer is yes. it would sound bigger with more bass if you ran the amp through a larger cab. Why not just get an oversized 1x12 from mojotone. I ran my deluxe through that cab with a Jensen Neo one time and it was awesome.

Or you could get a 1x12 closed back cab from avatar and use it as an extension cab in conjunction with the Deluxe speaker for more bass.

Actually, I want to get a 2x12 cab so that I can then get a head at a later point, and already have the cab.

what's the difference between mojotone and avatar?

I had the Mojo 1x12 cab when I owned a DRRI and it made a huge difference.

The problem was, it was another piece to carry so it never left the house.

looks like the 1x12 mojo is the same price as a 2x12, you just specify the speaker cut in the notes?

I believe mojotone actually makes the avatar cabs. Also the difference between the 2 cabs I referring to is that the mojo cab is oversized and open back and the avatar 1x12 is a small closed back cube.
