I need a cable or just a coupler to connect two cables together. It has to be 1/4 female to female. I don't want to loose quality. I run george L cables right now. Anyone know of a good company?

i got one from radio shack... it does the job, no tone suck. Any tone loss would come from the length of the cables you are attaching.

Those things are good to have in the toolbox for emergencies, but you should never depend on one as a regular part of your rig. Just buy or make the right cable to do the job.

i understand, but i have my main pedalboard that i do 80% of my rig with, and then i have a second pedal board that i'm building. sorta the crazy experimental stuff, and i don't want to put it into the end of my other board, but somewhere in the middle, so i just wanna be able to connect the ends in one certain place, cause I wanna try and use the crazy board with some bass stuff too. it's not a perfect system but if i find that i'm using it all the time, then i'll find a different way to do it. I'll post pictures when i'm done.

Sounds like in the end, you actually need an A/B/Y switch. Gives you multiple options for your set-up. Or possibly a 1 or 2 looper switch. I would rather incorporate a switching system rather than trust a coupler on my signal. Your options are greater in this kind of set-up than the coupler alternative.

Talk to Dan @ this1smyne.com and let him know your situation. He could easily build you a switching pedal or looper for your needs at a very reasonable price. He's built quite a few things for my pedalboard.
