Cables

Hi there,
on wednsday I'm comming over to see a guy who makes the best cables I've ever heard. Now I'm into getting all, and I mean all of my cables for my recording setup from him. So my setup is as follows-
DAW
M-audio delta 1010
Mackie 1402 VLZ mixer
3 SM58, 1 SM57, 1 Audio Technica AT3035
1 M-audio (61 key:D ) controller keyboard

and thats it, now every list of cables I've put down in the last few days was missing something, I thought maybe one of you could write down a complete list of all the cables (including USB's and such) that I would need?

BTW, sorry for the weird request:rolleyes:

Thanks
Lester

Why on earth would you need boutique USB cables?

Spec out Canare/Mogami cable and Neutrik/Switchcraft connecters. They are as good as you will ever need, for audio. Anything else is into diminishing returns.

For AC and Data cables, just get whatever's the most cost-effective.

Mogami also made SCSI cables, and I have never had a problem with one. They're hard to find, I got mine from Roland back in the day when I had a DM-80 system (early - mid 90s).

One nice thing about them is that they are light and extremely flexible, like their cables and snakes.

Recommended if any of your gear (some synths and samplers still have SCSI) needs one.

USBs and such, he doesn't make them, though here in Israel we don't really have so much dealers around, and the ones that are around are takeing around 20USD for a Neutrik connector.

I thought maybe you've got anything to add to my cable list.

BTW, this guy it making the cables out of Mogami and Neutrik.

Thanks again
Lester
