Caitlin Lynn:Check Her Out

I just thought I'd give some props to Caitlin Lynn.She's from my neck of the woods and a bad ass singer.A while back she won CMT's You Can Duet.Now she's 1 1/2 of the duo Caitlin & Will.It's kinda weird because only a little over a year ago she was hanging out at my bands rehearsals and singing in the local band 81 South.It's a little different hearing her sing in a pop country format but the girl can sing as good as anyone on the radio.They just shot their 1st video.Check it out.

Song was almost unbearable though.

I thought she was quite pitchy on the show...not that that's a hinderence these days. I like the tone of both of their voices. I was suprised they won to be honest...I thought Joey & Rory were the more marketable of the two ...and their debut single got to #30 on Billboard (Cheater Cheater)...not bad.

Yeah I know what you're saying.What's weird is that she didn't even gig the better country clubs in the area.She was pretty much unknown in Maryland except for the Annapolis music scene.I was shocked when they won but still I'm proud of her.She went from totally unknown to having a record deal overnight.Sometimes **** just happens and you catch a lucky break.
