    Hello guys,

I'm on the market for a dirt pedal for my Jackson Ampworks Britain 3.0. I typically run the amp on the verge of break-up and push it using a PaulC Tim or DAM Red Rooster for the heavier tones; but I got a couple of gigs coming up where I can't run the amp so hot.

Using the amp as a clean-platform for some dirt pedals, I need an OD/distortion pedal for some heavier tones. Any suggestions? Mainly a humbuggy player. Thanks!

Here for now, Europe when I die. Am I dead yet?
I could be wrong, but doesn't that amp have power scaling?
Set your tones and dial it back, right?
I use a Tim and have no problem doing this with other amps that do not have power scaling.
With a Britain 3.0, I would think it would be easier.

Yea those amps have great power scaling, just wind her back.

Can't help with heavy tones, but my Newcastle loves being goosed with an Arc Klone, and a Rockbox Boiling Point. Have also had great success with pretty much anything Bearfoot.

The britain 30 has power scaling, the britain 3.0 does not. I use a White Face Rat Reissue with my Atlantic 3.0 and it sounds great!

I've had some experience with attenuation, just exploring some other dirt pedal options!

It can get a bit confusing between the Britain and the Britain 30 since they have the same name haha
