    Hey John,
I have been on the sidelines in anticipation for the Single Cut LP type guitar for a few years now. It's like Big Foot, everyone wants to see him but no one has !!!

I love your guitars and am really excited for the your venture into the 24 3/4 scale.

    Peace
    Shane

I'll bet right now, someone is playing it through a Suhr Hedgehog amp.

Oh yes, I did go there! :)

I just knew it. I'll bet Shon has changed the strings on it atleast a half a dozen times after it's made it's rounds thru Suhr headquarters. :omg

Revisit? That is where we are starting. Single channel, then the FACS. The old models made in all their glory with no cost cutting or shortcuts. Then we will move on to other fun.

This is great news...even though it means I may have to sell some old Fenders.

Will you be doing the cane grills?

(And if so, can I get a replacement for the chewed-up one on my old 30/60?)

the idea is to make everything as identical as possible.
I'll discuss the hardwood and cane grill with Jim. I know he wants hardwood as an option.

I'm with him on that, then!

Funny, I was just playing Ed DeGenero's old Michael Thompson signature Suhr through my Jim Kelley and wondering why these amps haven't hit Dumble-like levels yet.

    (How's that for name-dropping?)

John -- that is gonna be EPIC, as the kids say -- John Buscarino has a FACS amp in his old shop in Florida, and I used to play thru that amp ALL THE TIME (until John would kick me out) -- and it's one oft he coolest amps I have ever heard. Personally, I liked the tones from the FACS amps better than what I have heard from Dumbles, but that's just me......

really looking forward to hearing what you do with the new FACS amp!:agree

ps: please let me be one of the "demo dudes" for your new chorus when it's done. pretty please???? :p

Wow, sounds like lots of awesome stuff is going to be coming from Suhr in the next couple years. Actually, now that I think of it, that won't be much of a change :D

Me, too. A friend of mine owns a couple of Dumbles, and used to own a couple of Trainwrecks...he has great taste in amps, but I wouldn't trade my FACS for any of them. Not in terms of sonics, anyway; the $35,000+ I'd get for selling the Dumble might come in handy, however. I'd start by buying a matched pair of Kelleys....

Looking forward to seeing the singlecut, too!
