Close? Yes.... exact? Of course not... Quieter? Yes, more versatile? Yes...

Use the 2nd channel and crank it. Humbucker will get BB type Clapton "Beano" tone. The Bambino is becoming quite a good product for us, and for the people who bought them, they love them. Just opened up a new dealer in MSP last week, Willys American guitars now has them. They loved it.

All around good amp to satisy your musical urges...It delivers what you would expect instead of falling short.

My viewpoint is obviously biased as I designed the amp.....FWIW, enjoy.

Do you have a dealer in Indiana where I can try the amp?

Unfortunately no we don't yet. No dealer in the Chicago area either, still trying to find the right fit there....Anthony may have a "floater" amp we can start to send out to people interested, he will have to post the details about that deal though.

The RedCoat speaker in the combo has a very good vintage english sound. The tubes aren't EL34s but it does have a lot of crunch and drive.

    bbell,

How would you rate the clean tones?
