5y3gt to GZ34 ?
A GZ34 will probably run it too hot without swapping the cathode resistor on the power tube. One would have to try and measure everything and calculate dissipation.
Why do you want to? What are you hoping to gain?
Why would you?
What's the point?
Was looking for if to have more head room .
Some amps (swart)can go to a 5y3 for early breakup . Got me thinking . Couldn't fine intel on the ec .Thanks
Sorry but difference, if any, would be inaudible.
As in, say, going from 5W to 5.25W .
If anything, get a better, more efficient speaker there, that will make a difference.

Most of the modern amps that allow rectifier swaps have either bigger transformers and/or different power tube possibilities. Neither is the case for your amp.
